I took piano lessons with Mrs. Panova for 7 years, from age 7 to 14. During that time, I began composing music and had the privilege of performing my own pieces at various places, including Carnegie Hall and multiple venues in Vienna, Austria. Mrs. Panova accompanied my family to every recital - even those in Europe - to support me on my music journey. Without her incredible teaching and mentorship, none of my musical accomplishments would have been possible. To this day, music is a huge part of my life, and I attribute much of that to my time as Mrs. Panova’s student. While she is undoubtedly a fantastic teacher, she is an even better person. Through our travels, Mrs. Panova became family, and I’m so glad we still see each other and stay in touch to this day!

Christopher Suarez

My son Chris began piano lessons at the age of seven with Mrs. Panova. He was very interested in music and particularly piano, and I wanted to ensure he had the best teacher possible for his needs. Our neighbors very strongly suggested Mrs. Panova as their two sons were studying with her and they could not say enough positive things about their sons' experiences. I had the pleasure of attending a recital in which my neighbor's sons played and I was immediately in awe. I truly had no idea that such young and amazing talent existed. I immediately knew this was the right fit, and was fortunate enough that Mrs. Panova had an opening which worked well with Chris' schedule. The moment we all met, I knew I had made the right choice. Mrs. Panova was extraordinarily kind to both Chris and me yet at the same time made us realize that she was seriously interested in determining Chris' ability and encouraging him to achieve it. Mrs. Panova and Chris met weekly and his progress became evident very quickly. Mrs. Panova was able to gauge Chris' interest in pursuing more difficult pieces and within less than two years Chris was playing beautiful classical music. At the age of nine, Chris developed an interest in composing his own pieces and shared his favorite with Mrs. Panova. She was absolutely delighted that Chris' interest went further than performance and encouraged him to continue to compose and offered to make suggestions about his compositions. Within less than one year from him sharing his interest in composing and her guidance and encouragement, Chris was invited to perform his first composition at Carnegie Hall. His interest in composition continued and he was fortunate enough to be invited back to Carnegie Hall three additional times. Chris continued lessons with Mrs. Panova for many years and his love of both music AND Mrs. Panova continues to this day. Mrs. Panova brought our family more joy than we could have ever expected, both through her perseverance with Chris and her cherished friendship that we continue to share to this day. I cannot say enough kind words about the dedication and love Mrs. Panova offers to all her students which was so evident in every recital I was lucky enough to attend. I am so grateful to Mrs. Panova for changing the course of our son's life in a beautiful and positive manner. I would be very happy to talk with anyone who is interested in working with Mrs. Panova and has specific questions that I can help with.

Arav Nangia

When we began our journey with you in the summer of 2013, we knew that beautiful music was promised. But there was so much more-the wonderful duets that both boys learned with you, the trip to Carnegie hall ( as “golden key” winners), the trip to Germany (with “crescendo” competition winners). We are cherished all years of joy we spent with you!
