About Elena Panova

     Elena Panova received her diplomas in piano performance and piano pedagogie in Russia, where she studied with Natalia Novkova, pupil of Vladimir Sofronitsky. She presented solo and duo performances in Russia, Austria and the United States. In 1997, Ms. Panova immigrated to United States where she has since gained recognition for her outstanding work as a teacher and collaborative pianist.
     Ms. Panova joined the faculty of Westminster Conservatory of Music in 1998, where she is a master faculty, teaching piano and chamber music. She also teaches piano at Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ.
Students of Elena Panova have received numerous awards and acknowledgments of excellence in piano study. As a winners of various Competitions and Festivals they performed in such a venues as John F. Kennedy Center of Performing Arts, Washington, D.C.; Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music center, NY; Carnegie Hall, NY, Lincoln Center, NY.
     In addition to teaching, Ms. Panova and her violin partner, Milena Dawidowiez, have been performing since 1999 as the
Sky Caravan duo. They specialize in the music of gypsy and classical music influenced by the gypsy style and tradition.
Elena Panova and her students have been featured on CBS 3, NBC 10 TV channels.
